Guide to TaigaMetsä

Can you hear the call of the forest?

The tribes of the four winds in Finland and the clans from abroad will meet on the shores of Lake Iso-Tarus and the adjoining woods in July 2010. People will come together to bring to life their own stories and legends with hobgoblins, gnomes, fairies, goblins, trolls and seers so that everyone will have their share for six days and five nights.

The gates of Taigametsä Camp are open for young people from 10 to 16 years of age and there will be activities and things to do for everybody in all areas of hobby. Families and younger children will have their own camp with a separate program.

This unique 50th anniversary Camp of Kaleva Youth Association is about to sprout up into a forest called Taigametsä. Come and join us there!

More information will be posted on the site as the event approaches.
